Multifunctional ring compressive and edge crush test machine, also known as Ring and edge crush test machine, is the basic instrument for paperboard/paper compressive strength performance testing (ie paper packaging) Testing equipment), equipped with various fixture accessories to test the ring pressure strength of the base paper, the flat compressive strength of the paperboard, the edge pressure strength, the bonding strength, etc., so that the paper production enterprises can control the production cost and improve the product quality.

Ring and edge crush tester is used to detect paper ring pressure strength, paperboard edge compressive strength, corrugated board adhesive strength, corrugated board flat pressing strength and so on. Paper mills are commonly used to detect paper ring compressive strength (RCT) with a thickness of 0.15 to 1.00 mm. Cardboard, carton and carton manufacturers are commonly used to test the edge strength (ECT), compressive strength (FCT), bond strength (PAT) of corrugated board and paper core compressive strength (CMT) less than 60 mm in diameter. The instrument is an ideal auxiliary testing tool for papermaking enterprises, paperboard manufacturers, carton manufacturers, carton users and quality supervision and inspection departments. Its various performance parameters and technical indicators meet the relevant national standards.


Test principle

1, RCT-ring strength test

The paper or cardboard sample is punched in a special sampler for ring pressure, the size is: 152mm × 12.7 mm, the sample is placed in the annular center plate, and then placed on the compression device and the lower plate to perform the crush test. The edge of the sample is subjected to increasing pressure until it collapses.

2, CMT-corrugated paper compression test

The corrugated base paper sample with a size of 152 mm × 12.7 mm is heated and creped in a fluting instrument, fixed with a tape, placed flat on the compression device and pressed between the lower platens, and the sample is subjected to increasing pressure until Crush.

3, ECT-corrugated board edge pressure strength test

A side pressure (adhesion) test sampler cuts a 100 mm × 25 mm corrugated cardboard sample, which is placed vertically on the compression apparatus and between the lower pressure plates for crushing test until crushing. The ECT value can be expressed as the force divided by the length of the sample.

4, PAT-corrugated board bonding strength test

A 100 mm × 25 mm corrugated cardboard sample is placed on the peel strength test stand, and then placed on the compression machine and the lower pressure plate for pressure test. The special structure of the peel strength test stand and the long and short needles are used to make the sample surface layer and core. Layer separation, the maximum force required for separation.

5, FCT-corrugated board flat pressure strength test

The flat sampler is cut into a certain area of corrugated cardboard sample, placed flat on the compression instrument and between the lower pressure plate for crushing test. The sample is subjected to increasing pressure until crushing, and the maximum force per unit area.
